Take a “beat the crowds” morning tour of the world-famous Acropolis and guided visit to the fantastic Acropolis Museum.

Afternoon photo workshop and orientation walk in central Athens.

Saturday, September 23

ATHENS | Countryside drive | GALAXIDI | Delphi

Street photography practice in in Plaka & Athens’ central market, or time at leisure to explore independently.

Scenic countryside afternoon drive to Arachova, with stop in seaside Galaxidi, one of the most historic and picturesque towns in Greece.

Dinner at a specially-chosen restaurant in seaside Galaxidi.

Overnight in Delphi, at a wonderful 4-star with incredible views (B, D)

Sunday, September 24

DELPHI | ARACHOVA

Morning tour of the stunning, mountainside site of Delphi; home to the Pythia (a.k.a the Oracle of Delphi).

Return to Arachova for lunch in a village restaurant, and to visit a women’s cooperative and attend a cheese-making demonstration.

Monday, September 25

Delphi | OSSIOS LOUKAS MONASTERY | Olive Oil Tasting in LIVADIA | Athens airport | Santorini

Visit the beautiful Ossios Loukas Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to important works of Byzantine art and architecture.

Following an olive—and olive oil—tasting, and lunch, drive to the Athens airport for our flight to stunning Santorini.

SANTORINI

Day exploring the beautiful cliff-top whitewashed villages of Santorini.

Optional visit to one of the island’s top wineries.

SANTORINI

Day at leisure to explore Santorini independently, or choose from optional activities we can facilitate (boat trip, Minoan site of Akrotiri, etc.).

Optional opportunity to attend a Greek Orthodox service, and photograph the social gathering that follows.

SANTORINI | FOLEGANDROS

Pre-dawn lunar eclipse over the Santorini caldera for those interested.

Late morning ferry to the off-the-beaten path island of Folegandros, with afternoon exploring the beautiful hilltop Chora village.

Day at leisure to explore striking Folegandros independently.

FOLEGANDROS | Pireaus | Seaside by Athens

Enjoy a final morning at leisure in Folegandros (or boat trip), followed by an afternoon ferry to Pireaus, Athens‘ main port.
